We have the pleasure of proposing the sale of an exclusive beaver located in the territory of Alcamo and, more precisely, in C/da Fico, place from which, sometimes, it took its name, improperly, since it is in fact the renowned Shepherd Baglio.
The Baglio is a typical 1800s cottage and ours boasts to be one of the largest, by extension, of all Sicily, its Court is truly impressive and is around 2,300 square meters. It is also nestled in a strategic location, between two airports (the one of Palermo and that of Trapani) and is therefore a great starting point to visit all of western Sicily, rich in a coastal territory among the most evocative of the island as well as cultural, artistic, natural and archaeological beauties. Still, Baglio Pastore is situated in a location of remarkable landscape and natural quality surrounded by a vegetation typical of Mediterranean flora, in a context of extreme richness of panoramas, incredible colors and a rich wine and culinary tradition.
The birth of this building complex is due to Baron Felice Pastore, a very important figure and a key figure in 19th-century Sicilian politics.
The grandeur of the architectural plant and its sophistication show the social and economic relevance of the owner, educated man, passionate about religion, economy, architecture, art and, not least, agricultural materials, the latter decisive for the birth of this complex of which is evident the strong agricultural component productive.
The structure gravitates around the court, that is, the so-called flare, the fulcrum from which all the other building realities started: the stately house and its chapel, as well as the various elements of the old fiefdom, the plants of the various crops, the watchtower, the large garden of the property, the houses of the tenants, the house of the field, the pigsty and the various houses divided by sector that characterized the fervent agricultural life of the farms specialized.
Even today the flailing retains all functional and aesthetic features, as well as its indisputable charm although over time, especially the noble area, it has been subject to theft and vandalism making it now depleted of its original beauties, despite the considerable efforts of the current owners to secure it.
But, despite this, over the years, the Baglio has been a source of inspiration, becoming the scene of important events of great cultural depth, such as the Culture and TV Award, as well as scenario of successful films such as "The Hundred Steps", "The Sweet and the Bitter", to name a couple, where one of the most important scenes of the film is filmed right inside the evocative Baglio that is transformed into a real film set.
The location and charm of the impressive construction and the absolute comfort of its spaces make the Shepherd's Beaver a truly unique place. The convenience of converting each sector into any other receptive structure allows you to unleash the imagination towards a multi-gender
